About

Avalon Malibu is an alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility that is located at 32420 Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California. Treating substance abuse involves multiple stages of treatment through a recovery program such as that offered by Avalon Malibu. This can include group counseling, individual counseling, outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, and medically assisted detox, among many others. Treatment programs are based on the individual themselves and are constructed to suit each patient individually. Just as every person is unique, so should treatment programs and that is exactly what patients will receive at Avalon Malibu.

If addicts do not obtain the right type of support and guidance, they may find treatment to be very difficult as the thought of sobriety can seem so far-fetched. At Avalon Malibu, professional counseling and guidance are provided to all patients aged 18+, giving them the strength needed in order to obtain a life that is free of drug and alcohol addiction. By altering the patient's outlook on life through addiction treatment, they will be able to stay positive throughout the duration of rehab.

The staff members at Avalon Malibu have a mission and that is to give patients effective and quality addiction treatment so that long-lasting sobriety can be obtained. The path to a positive future starts on a positive foot and that begins at Avalon Malibu. Confronting addiction is a difficult thing to do, but it is the most important step in the recovery process. Through professional counseling during the patient's time in treatment, patients will learn coping skills and trigger management which is imperative to the success of maintaining sobriety.

Maintaining sobriety on one's own is extremely difficult, especially when the addict has tried to go 'cold turkey' on their own. This is because it requires medically-assisted detox in order to properly and safely wean the body off of the substance of abuse. This way the body does not go through sudden withdrawal nor experience harsh side effects. Avalon Malibu can provide patients with all of the necessary tools, treatments, and resources so that patients have every opportunity to succeed in recovery.

Getting treatment is the best option when seeking a life that is free of substance abuse. Get the help required now and start living the best life possible. Contact Avalon Malibu by visiting www.avalonmalibu.com now.

There are a lot of treatment programs in the Los Angeles area but only a few are quality. Avalon is the very best at what they do. They actually care about the client. I always feel confident when I send a client to Avalon. I know they will be treated with the best care. I would send a family member there. Their staff is THE BEST!

As a professional in the field, I place tremendous value on identifying programs that only operate from a high ethical standard and provide clinical excellence when referring a client or family. Avalon Malibu far exceeds all expectation. From their highly trained, dedicated, and compassionate staff to their pristine grounds and breathtaking views, Avalon Malibu is the creme de la creme.

The grounds are incredible, the views spectacular, and the food is far better than most restaurants. Avalon Malibu treats Dual Diagnosis Substance Abuse as well as Primary Mental Health in two magnificent homes overlooking the Pacific ocean in Malibu. The Avalon team is made up of caring and dedicated individuals who will make you feel extremely comfortable even on your worst day. This is by far one of the safest places to get real help.

I recently toured the intensive outpatient program in June 2018 and I am very impressed. The clinical and intake team are simply fantastic to work with especially Dia and Kelly. The staff is extremely caring, responsive and completely committed to the recovery.

RONNIE IS THE BEST! He has a great heart, cares about you and bends over backwards if you need anything. Only flaw is id you give him a taste of your chocolate bar, he will end up eating 2/3s of it before he is finished 'tasting' 😛

I entered Avalon 82 days ago severely depressed, addicted to drugs and alcohol and completely broken and hopeless. The staff welcomed me with open arms and has truly saved my life. The accommodations, food, amenities, views...all were amazing and I immediately felt comfortable with the all the staff from the directors, the chef, the RA's, drivers, you name it...everyone that works here is so caring and fabulous. When you come in you are immediately assigned a practitioner and a psychiatrist...I was a late admission but neither of these doctors had me wait till morning and they both were on the phone with me till the wee hours of the night/early morning easing my withdrawal fears and answering every single question I had to make sure I was absolutely comfortable with medications and all that I may need until they could see me in person the next day. The counselors and therapists who run the daily groups are by far the most intuitive, knowledgeable and caring clinical staff members I have experienced in a residential setting (and I have been in a few rehabs before this). Both my individual therapist and my family therapist have helped me beyond words. I came to Avalon with many, many issues...sexual assault and trauma from the past, binge eating disorder, bipolar depression, anxiety disorder and alcohol and drug addiction. Avalon has been able to help me treat all of these and get down to the real core issue underneath so much of the pain that I have experienced for decades. I am still here at Avalon, I will get 90 days sober next week and plan to extend beyond that as I know I still have work I need to do. I can honestly say that Avalon was the best decision I have made in many years, I came here wanting to get better but not knowing how or even where to start and they have given me all that and more. I am so grateful to be able to create such a beautiful, sound and healthy foundation here and I encourage anyone considering Avalon to come take a tour, meet the staff and if you truly want to heal and do the work to have a better life.....this place works!!!

The best health treatment facility you could ever hope to imagine. Compared to Aurora Vista Del Mar in Ventura that is run by the devil himself, Avalon Malibu treats their patients with kindness and sincerity. I'm currently on Day 4 of 30 of curing my depression and marijuana abuse, and already feel changed. I know that there's still a little less than 4 weeks of this left, so I want to document my thoughts and feelings here not only to illicit a response from whoever reads this and is so inclined to do so, but a journal I can look back upon and see the evolution that takes place within me by day 30. By that day I really hope to reawaken my passions and then work on them at full force. Thank you Avalon Malibu, you do all of your patients an incredibly gracious service. Six stars
